Course Objectives
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Student will be able to evaluate different definitions of leadership.
  • Student will be able to give information about three constituents of leadership; the specifications of leader, specifications of successors and contingency factors and their interactions with each other.
  • Student will be able to analyze the theories of leadership which take place in contingency approach.
  • Student will be able to explain essential social psychological elements which are in relation with leadership concept; social impact, power and politics.
  • Student will be able to discuss about the current approaches and theories like charismatic leadership, transformational leadership, destructive leadership which are related with leadership concept.
  • Student will be able to conduct a scientific research in social sciences, especially about leadership, in teams.
